About

Sanders Memorial Disc Golf Course/Anderson Disc Golf Club:
Anderson Disc Golf Club began in July 2017, housed under a local non-profit A Town Center. However, our work started well before then. Led by the efforts of Levi Rinker and Phil Larson, we began working with the city to install Sanders Memorial Disc Golf Course at Edgewater Park in Anderson. Installing the course took several workdays with soon-to-be club members volunteering their time to dig pads, clear brush, and install baskets. On November 11, 2017 we had our course grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the city’s Mayor. This marked the first official membership round for ADGC. Soon we implemented weekly singles and doubles leagues. In March 2019 ADGC became its own 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We continue looking for ways to grow our club and the sport. We’ve made changes to course including adding a rock for our long pin location on hole #11 creating an elevated basket; and an extra long pin location for hole #3. Our leadership likes to dream big and we hope to someday soon have a second course in Anderson.
